What's in a name?

Everyone seems to have a name for their baby that doesn't sound anything like the baby's real name.
I never understood it until now.

I lie.
I still don't understand it.

Here are the names I call my little person:

Boojnoupe (booj-nu)
Boupanoupa (boop-a-noopa)
Boonoux (boo-nu)
Poopadoupe (poop-a-doop)
Grumples
Grumpalots
Grumplestiltskin (grumple-stilt-skin)

I will probably refer to her as one of these names through out this blog.
